2 Birds 1 Stone 一石二鳥
Watercolor. A collection of complementary idioms & proverbs from Japanese and English, such as the perfectly matching “2 birds 1 stone” and “1 stone 2 birds” or the nuanced pairing of “like a moth to a flame” vs “a summer bug flies into fire.” Each idiom image is painted in vivid watercolor and merges with its match, so this set is meant to be played like Memory (a game also shared in Japan, as Shinkeisuijaku 神経衰弱) and/or as a learning deck for language enthusiasts (of Japanese, English, or idioms). The back image is a hand-printed (版画) piece.

The first limited edition half-set was printed in Japan in June 2025, with a full-bleed version released in September 2025. The full set (& 2nd half set) will be released in 2026.

水彩。 日本語と英語の対応することわざ・慣用句を集めたコレクションです（例：「like a moth to a flame」と「跳んで火に入る夏の虫」）。各諺のイメージは鮮やかな水彩で描かれ、対になる表現同士がひとつの絵の中で溶け合うように構成されています。そのため、このセットは神経衰弱（Memory）として遊ぶことも、また日本語・英語・諺に興味のある方のための学習デッキとしてもお使いいただけます。裏面のイメージは手刷りの版画作品です。
